SEACORP is seeking a well-qualifiedContracts Administrator II.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator II. The ContractAdministrator II is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, andrevising contracts that involve the purchase of goods or services such asequipment, materials, supplies, or products primarily relating to US Navy. TheContract Administrator II will negotiate terms and conditions, consult withinternal teams for compliance, and represent the company when dealing withexternal business partners. This is an entry/mid-level position.Responsibilities include:
- Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation,contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide forproper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with companypolicies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Maintains and updates contract documents and officialprogram records, including contractual documents and correspondence.
- Research contract issues and prepares analysis withcitations.
- Analyzes and reports potential risks involved withspecific contract terms.
- Provides direct contract support and reviewscontractual documents to ensure protection of company's contractual/riskposture, satisfaction of contractual requirements, and adherence tocompany policies.
- Maintains and provides status and tracking informationon both internal and external customer requests.
- Provide comprehensive contract lifecycle management toensure accuracy.
- Generates ad hoc reports, participates on specialprojects and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/GED.
Experience : 3 years of direct and relevant experience in cradle-grave DoD contracting.
- Knowledge of contracting for a variety of products andservices for major systems, research and development (R&D), and/orcomplex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies.
- Possess a working knowledge of IndefiniteDelivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time andMaterial (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contracts.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office toolset (Outlook,PowerPoint, Excel).
- Effective communication skills including written,verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a teamplayer.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint.
