Chenega Government Mission Solutions LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is looking for a Contract Specialist to support the FDA in the Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services (OAGS) for a 4-month period.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support in all areas of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based Federal procurement, including:
    • Preparing or reviewing pre-procurement packages
    • Developing and managing acquisition plans
    • Preparing/researching support documentation
    • Making quality recommendations to the Contracting Officer
    • Handling and resolving problems, validating data, and completing actions to advertise, solicit, construct, award, administer, and closeout government contracts or task/delivery orders
    • Monitoring and supporting de-obligating undelivered orders (UDOs)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution or 24 semester hours of business-related college courses
  • Two years of contract work experience based on the Federal Government acquisition work experience per the Contract Specialist (GS-1102) Qualification Standard
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Experience with automated systems and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and teleconference tools
  • Strong professional and interpersonal skills for interaction with public education, program coordination, and advocacy groups
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with Federal Acquisition
  • Self-starter with multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
Salary

Estimated annual salary ranges from USD $81,714.92 to USD $88,000.00.
