Contract IT Project Manager

100% Remote, MUST be in Eastern time to qualify

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to milestones and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with IT Teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Update dashboards
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and track issues in Excel
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Understanding of full trade lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management in the information technology sector.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
