This seasonal, contract role involves attending onsite open enrollment and benefit fair meetings at client locations. You may need to give presentations on benefits or answer individual questions. Follow-up information is provided electronically to Delta Dental personnel. The role is suited for individuals with flexible schedules, available from 8 AM to 5 PM in their local time zone, Monday through Friday. Commitment to maintaining presence during these hours and adapting to workload shifts during peak periods is essential. Benefits are not provided for this seasonal contract position; they are available for permanent roles at Delta Dental.

Requirements include: at least two years of experience in medical/dental insurance account management, benefits administration in HR, serving as a carrier, representative, or broker. Candidates must reside in specified locations (e.g., Los Angeles, SF Bay Area, Dallas, NYC, etc.) and be available to start by 08/01/2025. This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Compare and explain dental plans to help customers select the best options.
  • Guide customers in voluntary plan decisions when applicable.
  • Provide printed plan information and answer questions.
  • Refer unresolved issues to customer service.
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years experience in relevant insurance or benefits roles.
  • High School diploma or GED; insurance license required for FL and KY residents.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Knowledge of dental and health insurance terminology; multilingual skills are a plus.

Pay rate: $30/hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, and internal factors.
