\n \n\n \nPosition and Hourly Rate: Registered Nurse (RN) - $60/hr.
\n \n\n \nTravel Bonus: none
\n \n\n \nInternal AdventHealth employees: If transferring to the SWRSS team must be committed to working one 13-week contract, before returning to a full-time role. Contracts are not guaranteed and time without pay may occur in between contract assignments.
\n \n\n \na. Internal AdventHealth employees transferring to SWRSS cannot do their first contract at their home/primary facility. Prior AdventHealth employees cannot do their first contract at the prior home facility within 13 weeks of the term date.
\n \n\n \nb. In this case, Adventhealth Central Texas or any AdventHealth outside of Texas would be eligible to apply.

\n \n\n \nSchedule : 36 Guaranteed hours per week for the duration of your contract.
\n \n\n \nShifts Available : Mid Shift (11a-11p) or (1p 1a)
\n \n\n \nLocation : 11801 South Fwy., Burleson, TX 76028 or 2300 Lone Star Road; Mansfield, TX 76063

The role you'll contribute: The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care activities that are developmental and age specific for the population served. The Registered Nurse performs a wide variety of job duties during their shifts; promotes and restores patients health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, completing the nursing process and the patients plans of care, providing emotional, physical and spiritual support to the patients and their families and supervising assigned team members.

- Deliver patient centered nursing care using the SHARE principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction. \n \n
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to the patients and their families. \n \n
- Provides quality care by adhering to Standards of Practice, measuring health outcomes against patient centered goals. \n \n
- Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to achieve quality outcomes. \n \n
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures, calling for assistance from healthcare support personnel when needed. \n \n\n \n\n
Qualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \n\n- \n
- Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Registered Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State. \n \n
- Associate Degree in Nursing. Bachelor's highly preferred. \n \n
- 2 years in a hospitals ER \n \n
- Active BLS \n \n
- Active ACLS \n \n
- Active PALS or ENPC \n \n
- TNCC (for Huguley only) \n \n\n \n\n
