WHO YOU ARE

The ideal candidate will serve as the contract professional supporting the Undersea Warfare submarket segment under the C6ISR Line of Business. This candidate will handle spares and repairs of assets needed to support the US surface ships and submarine platform's operability. In addition, this candidate will provide contract administration support to other contract managers within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare and submit quotations for both spares and repair solicitations.

•Work closely with the program office and finance teams to ensure customer commitments are achieved on time and within budget.

•Meet all internal and external customer deadlines and be responsive to customer inquiries related to status of repair and spares orders.

• Provide contractual support to the USW Organization on an “as needed basis”.

• Prepares reports for management use and retention showing the current status of spares and repairs proposals submitted, awarded and the financial status associated.

• Engagement with other LM support organization (Pricing, Material Cost Estimating, ETC.), obtain program status.

• Provide support to DCMA and DCAA on inquiries related to PO status and On-Time Delivery metrics.

•Take on special projects related to contractual support for the USW as/if required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Familiar with various contract types.

- Basic knowledge of FAR and DFAR.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Willingness to learn and grow within the Contract's discipline.

Desired Skills:

- Good communication skills with the customer and LM Leadership.

- Proven track record of meeting customer commitments and history of customer satisfaction.

- Ability to focus on the task at hand and see it through to completion.

- Assertive problem solver.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
