The journalism program in the Department of Communication at the University of Minnesota Duluth seeks applicants for our continuous job hiring pool to teach journalism and related courses. Preferred candidates can teach across the curriculum, including writing and reporting, media production, design, media law & ethics, and data journalism. Courses may be offered in-person, online, or hybrid. Positions are term-based; contingent on funding. Note: Being in the pool does not guarantee a contract; course offerings vary with demand and funding.

Pay and BenefitsPay Range: Instructor: $46,920-$62,560 | Assistant Professor: $55,252-$73,669, depending on qualifications. Time appointment: 50%-74%.
