Job Responsibilities

• Lead process improvements to meet business needs, manage complex issues, and contribute to strategic and operational planning.
• Develop and execute lean transformation plans focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Output, Cycle Time, and Inventory.
• Lead projects using Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma tools to drive operational improvements.
• Develop and monitor operations metrics and lean strategies.
• Follow up on improvement initiatives to ensure timely implementation and tangible benefits.
• Use measurement and analysis methods to identify and document improvements.
• Foster a problem-solving culture and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Serve as a resource for implementing new methods and processes.
• Establish ongoing training and development programs for employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in business, finance, operations, or engineering.
• Experience facilitating multiple Lean events.
• Full knowledge of Lean concepts with proven success.
• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) or lean practitioner preferred.
• Proven record of fostering a continuous improvement culture.
• Ability to build teams and influence outcomes without direct control.
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience developing teams and training in new methodologies.

Travel

• Approximately 50% travel supporting Shelbyville & Forest, OH sites.
