Job Responsibilities
- Lead process improvements to meet business needs, manage complex issues, and contribute to strategic and operational planning.
- Develop and execute lean transformation plans focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Output, Cycle Time, and Inventory.
- Lead projects using Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma tools to drive operational improvements.
- Develop and monitor operations metrics and lean strategies.
- Follow up on improvement initiatives to ensure timely implementation and tangible benefits.
- Use measurement and analysis methods to identify and document improvements.
- Foster a problem-solving culture and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Serve as a resource for implementing new methods and processes.
- Establish ongoing training and development programs for employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, operations, or engineering.
- Experience facilitating multiple Lean events.
- Full knowledge of Lean concepts with proven success.
- Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
- Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) or lean practitioner preferred.
- Proven record of fostering a continuous improvement culture.
- Ability to build teams and influence outcomes without direct control.
- Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience developing teams and training in new methodologies.
Travel
- Approximately 50% travel supporting Shelbyville & Forest, OH sites.
