Raymond of New Jersey, a Toyota Industries Corporation company, is a leading provider in the material handling industry. We're committed to operational excellence and lean thinking. Currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our Lean Management Team.

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you'll play a key role in advancing our Raymond Lean Management (RLM), Toyota Production System (TPS), and ASEC methodologies. You'll partner across departments and eventually with customers to implement strategic initiatives, drive process improvements, and build a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

· Lead and coach cross-functional teams on RLM/TPS tools and methods

· Identify improvement opportunities and execute projects that positively impact KPIs (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Engagement, Morale)

· Continuous cultivation and advancement of employee expertise in RLM/TPS functions.

· Apply tools such as A3s, value stream mapping, standard work, 5S, PDCA, and visual management

· Work will include routine and moderately challenging tasks

· Support and scale a culture of lean thinking across all levels of the organization

· Champion safety as a non-negotiable priority

Education and/or Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, or related field (or 3+ years equivalent experience)

· 3+ years of practical experience in continuous improvement or formal TPS/Lean training

· Strong communication, presentation, and coaching skills

· Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Background in Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, or related methodologies is a plus

· Experience in material handling, manufacturing, or logistics is highly valued

· PMP certification a plus
