We're on the lookout for a dynamic Continuous Improvement Manager to spearhead the implementation of the Hubbell Manufacturing System (HMS) and foster a vibrant lean culture. This pivotal role offers the chance to collaborate across departments, pinpoint inefficiencies, and champion initiatives that enhance productivity, slash costs, and elevate quality.

Imagine a day filled with diverse activities: from analyzing processes, leading cross-functional kaizens, to developing cutting-edge strategies using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. You'll manage projects from start to finish, harness data to drive decisions, and conduct impactful training sessions. Your efforts in change management and compliance will ensure sustainable improvements and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis: Evaluate current processes to identify areas of inefficiency and opportunities for improvement.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate cross-functional kaizens to improve a process or to solve a problem.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data and metrics to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for employees on continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to understand their processes and collaborate on improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives and their impact on overall performance.
  • Change Management: Manage the change process by effectively communicating with stakeholders and ensuring buy-in for improvement initiatives.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all process improvements comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on execution and accountability.
  • Adaptable and open to change.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation.
