Continuous Improvement Leader - CW Industrial Partners, LLC : Job Details

CW Industrial Partners is a private equity investment firm located in Cleveland, Ohio that makes control investments in lower middle market companies. We invest in manufacturing and industrial service companies with $2 to $12 million of EBITDA.

The firm was founded in 1999 with over two decades of investing in the lower middle market, we've deployed capital in businesses with greater than $500 million of cumulative enterprise value. We have enjoyed a demonstrated track record of historical success partnering with owner-operator and family-owned businesses. Given the growth of the firm and expansion of the number of companies in the portfolio, we are looking for a Pre-MBA Associate to join our growing team in Cleveland.

We seek a skilled Continuous Improvement Leader to implement operational improvements across our portfolio of manufacturing companies. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in industrial engineering, Microsoft Power BI, financial analysis, project management, and lean manufacturing who can drive significant value-creation initiatives in a private equity setting. This person would report to the CWI Operating Director and be a CWI Operations Improvement team member led by a CWI Operating Partner.

• Lead projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving profitability.
• Collaborate with management teams at portfolio companies to align on and execute improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor operational performance across multiple portfolio companies.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies.
• Train and guide portfolio companies in adopting best practices in operations and data-driven decision-making.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Operations Management.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• 2+ years of experience in operations analysis, ideally in a manufacturing context
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, with strong analytical skills and familiarity with SQL.
• Proven track record in project management and executing operational improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
