Overview:
We are currently seeking a innovative Continuous Improvement Leader with extensive expertise in operations and supply chain management. This strategic role requires a seasoned subject matter expert in change management to leverage Lean methodologies for driving transformative process improvements and ensuring effective and sustainable implementation of daily management activities and manufacturing processes to meet critical operational objectives, including Policy Deployment and Key Performance Indicators. Your primary objective will be to transform a complex, multi-facility manufacturing campus into a lean operation by implementing flow, pull, and kanban processes and ensuring process reliability. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating high-potential talent within the organization who, through proficiency in Lean tools, will foster and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partnering with the Operations site leader to enhance functional efficiency, boost productivity, and drive business growth to achieve key organizational objectives.
• Develop and mentor leadership in advanced lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Strategically identify and cultivate talent within the organization to drive transformative change and deliver impactful results.
• Spearhead the deployment of lean principles and practices across multiple value streams, driving significant waste reduction and substantial productivity gains
• Monitor and evaluate the organization's maturity within the local Operations and Supply Chain groups to uphold core principles and prevent regression. Identify opportunities for enhancement to drive growth. Using these evaluations, to design the annual PD plan partnering with Operations site leaders.
The required qualifications for the job include:
• Bachelor's degree required and preference for 10+ years or MS degree and preference for 7+ years in Operations and/or Supply Chain with in-depth knowledge in Lean concepts.
• Prefer 5+ years of Lean Continuous Process Improvement experience.
• Mastery of problem solving and LEAN tools such as Lean conversion, Heijunka, OEE and Kanban.
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with strong training capabilities and demonstrated influencing proficiency
• Adept at both hands-on, detail-oriented tasks and strategic, big-picture thinking, with a strong emphasis on process orientation.
• Proven track record of driving impactful change and influencing outcomes while fostering strong, trust-based relationships with teams through personal commitment.
