WSP is currently initiating a search for a Contract Support Specialist in Tampa or Orlando . Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.

Your Impact

Job Duties:

• Prepares reports on Construction projects detailing errors and omissions, if any.

• Determines that all calculations and/or field measurements for pay quantities are complete and mathematically correct and are substantiated by field records.

• Verifies that the final plans reflect the revised pay items

• Compares material-based actions and/or pay reductions on the Project Materials Certification letter to actual payments made.

• Exercising independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma

• 9 years of experience in the construction or engineering field

• Four (4) years of CEI experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) System input, progress and final estimates ( PrC ), EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc.

• Certificate in Final Estimates Level I and Level II through Construction Training Qualification Program (CTQP). Must obtain within six months and maintain thereafter

• Knowledge of FDOT policies and procedures relating to Final Estimates

• Knowledge of the Final Estimates Process and Manuals

• Knowledge of the concepts, terminology, principles, and analytical techniques for Final Estimates

• Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data

• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

• Ability to: Become proficient in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu.

• Proficiency is the knowledge and expertise to:

• Understand which surfaces are needed from the designer Understand the survey data from the field

• Prepare the survey data as needed for use in the software

• Generate accurate earthwork quantities from the software
