Opportunity Overview: The Contact Center Representative plays a vital role in ensuring that Hoosier Hills Credit Union (HHCU) members receive exceptional service through phone and digital communications. This position is responsible for building and maintaining member relationships by delivering helpful, friendly, and solution-focused support. You'll assist with account servicing, loan, and new account applications, and recommend financial solutions tailored to member needs-all while ensuring professionalism and accuracy in every interaction. What You'll Do:Mission & Member Experience
- Deliver exceptional service aligned with HHCU's mission: To be better for our members by making a positive difference in their lives and the communities we serve.
- Take ownership of member needs and ensure follow-through until resolved.
- Develop meaningful relationships by understanding and anticipating member goals.
Member Support & Service Delivery
- Support members with transactions, account maintenance, loan applications, and more.
- Recommend products and services to support financial wellness.
- Proactively meet sales and service goals through solution-based conversations.
Operational & Technical Proficiency
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages with accuracy and efficiency.
- Process loan applications and account updates within regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Maintain internal communication routing and inboxes.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Actively participate in meetings, training, and team-building efforts.
- Share ideas for improvement and contribute to team success.
- Assist with cross-functional support such as teller or service tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a customer service or retail role; contact center or phone-based experience preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with lending and loan applications processes is a plus.
- Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
