The Role

CLD is seeking a Consulting Engineer to join our dynamic team and help deliver world-class perimeter security solutions across high-security sectors such as Data Centers, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical, and Aerospace.

In this role, you'll act as a trusted technical partner to our clients and installation partners—providing expert design consulting, generating precise construction and manufacturing drawings, and ensuring seamless integration of our solutions into complex infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do

• Consult with Clients & Design Teams: Guide architects, civil/structural/electrical engineers, and security consultants in integrating CLD products into engineered designs.
• Develop Construction Documents: Create high-quality installation shop drawings and sequence of operations for use in the field.
• Create Submittals: Deliver technical submittals to contractors for stakeholder review and approval.
• Support Manufacturing: Assist in the creation of manufacturing-ready drawings that ensure accurate product fabrication.
• Research & Development: Assist with developing new products and using customer feedback to improve product designs.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BlueBeam, and related design tools
• Solid understanding of engineered design workflows and construction administration
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems
• Experience in Physical Security Design
• Knowledge of physical security principles (CPTED, HVM, forced entry resistance)
• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, proactive mindset
