Pay and compensation

Base pay range: $176,000.00/yr - $248,000.00/yr

US base salary range for this full-time position is $176,000-$248,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. About The Job

The Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) team helps customers transform their IT organizations to build and operate modern, cloud-native applications using Google Cloud products and services, ensuring customers maximize their investments. As a Consulting Account Lead, you will act as a trusted advisor to Google Cloud's largest customers by enabling them to use Google Cloud products to achieve their business goals. You will partner with customers to develop cloud success plans using organizational, programmatic, and technical strategies to meet business and stakeholder goals. You will work with customers to remove barriers and identify opportunities to expand their use of Google Cloud products. You will recommend best practices relevant to their industry and organizational changes to accelerate onboarding and migration plans. You will lead the successful adoption of Google Cloud, guiding customers through people, process, and technology facets of their cloud transformation. You will collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will engage with executive stakeholders across a cross-functional team to help Google meet customer goals.In this role, you will be on the customer site approximately 50% of the time.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google's technology, helping developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries rely on Google Cloud to enable growth and solve critical business problems.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the successful adoption and onboarding of Google Cloud at key organizations to help customers realize the business value of the partnership and offerings.
  • Create value for customers by partnering to define success and building a joint plan with objectives, stakeholders, milestones, risks, and metrics.
  • Form strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand a customer's business within their industry and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Guide IT and business executives through organizational changes needed to unlock cloud value, and help them staff, train, and align their people and partners to deliver the cloud transformation.
  • Partner with account teams and executives to develop strategic and technical plans that help customers achieve business and cloud consumption goals.
Qualifications
  • Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in consulting, IT services, or other relevant fields.
  • Experience leading cloud migrations, digital implementations, or managed services operations for organizations.
  • Experience with IT infrastructure or cloud-native applications development.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
  • 15 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience leading large enterprise transformations from legacy on-premise software to digital-native cloud solutions.
  • Experience with data center migration strategies and collaborating with channel partners and systems integrators.
  • Experience helping customers decide on investments based on ROI and value.
  • Knowledge of the Google Cloud ecosystem.
