Seeking dedicated mental health professionals to join Ohel's Project Launch team. The program intends to promote the wellness of young children, from birth to 8 years of age, by addressing the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral aspects of their development, preparing young children to thrive in school and beyond.As a member of the Project Launch team, Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) Consultants will work closely with staff and teachers at early childhood education sites in Brooklyn, where they will conduct trainings for staff and provide mental health consultation regarding children with behavioral and/or social emotional needs. The ECMH Consultants will develop and maintain positive working partnerships with staff and teachers, as well as families at the early childhood centers. Responsibilities will also include supporting parents, conducting parenting groups, mental health screenings on children and referring children who need intervention beyond on-site consultation to mental health clinics or additional services.Master's level clinician with MSW, MHC, CAT degree or similar required; Bilingual Mandarin required. 3 years of experience working with young children and families is required. Excellent salary, training, and supervision are provided in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.
