The overarching aim of this consultancy is to support the analysis and benchmarking for the SDGs related to children as part of the development of the report “Progress on Children's Well-Being”, including the life-course index. The work involves using GitHub, our database, and collaborating with sectoral data managers/analysts in D&A. The consultant will work on country briefs/factsheets based on the report and will enhance and automate the existing R-based workflow to generate standardized factsheets and charts across countries.
The consultant will write syntax, maintain the GitHub repository, and support the publication process in collaboration with the PEG team, ensuring the code and documentation support long-term scalability and reproducibility.
Scope of WorkThe Consultant will:
Produce country factsheets from benchmarking analysis and the Life-course index using R, maintaining GitHub repositories, and generating findings.
(1) Education: Master's degree in Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Education, or related fields.
