About the Role

Christa Construction is seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on multi-family, wood-frame commercial construction projects. This role is critical in driving quality, safety, and project success from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Lead all on-site construction activities

• Ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and quality standards

• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and updated drawings

• Chair weekly subcontractor meetings and coordinate field efforts

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce company and OSHA safety standards

• Maintain site-specific safety documentation and ensure subcontractor compliance

• Actively model and enforce proper PPE and jobsite protocols

Scheduling & Coordination

• Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules

• Monitor lead times, material deliveries, and subcontractor workflow

• Assist in buyout and submittal tracking

Quality Assurance

• Conduct QA/QC checks throughout all phases of the build

• Manage preconstruction meetings, mock-ups, and closeout inspections

• Ensure all work aligns with codes, plans, and specifications

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in wood-frame multi-family commercial construction

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices

• Proficient with MS Office, Procore, and construction management software

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk, stand, climb, and navigate active construction sites

• Must have good vision, hearing, and general physical endurance

• Occasional lifting and use of ladders or scaffolding may be required
