A reputable General Contractor in Albuquerque is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team. Specializing in ground-up commercial construction, they deliver projects across the K-12, Religious, Industrial, and Medical sectors, with a reputation for quality, safety, and long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction operations from mobilization through final turnover.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site crews, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust construction schedules to meet project milestones.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA standards, driving a zero-incident culture.
- Oversee quality control, ensuring work meets plans, specifications, and building codes.
- Maintain clear communication with Project Managers, Owners, and Inspectors.
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports, progress tracking, and site documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues on-site to maintain workflow and minimize delays.
- Mentor and support Assistant Superintendents and junior field staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years' experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects.
- Experience must be in commercial construction only – multi-family or residential backgrounds will not be considered.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
