The Landscape Construction Superintendent is a critical role that combines high-level skills and knowledge of best practices in both landscape construction and organic maintenance. You will lead a team of dedicated Foremen and Team Members throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to site build, project closeout, and transition to maintenance. We aim to build lasting client relationships through landscapes that thrive.

This is a full-time, in-office position. We offer a comprehensive benefits package outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Construction Project Managers during estimating and budget development.
  • Prepare and manage project schedules.
  • Identify resource and equipment needs for projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily construction site activities.
  • Demonstrate leadership and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Transition project knowledge to the Maintenance Team at project closeout.
  • Mentor and train team members for skill development and increased responsibilities.
  • Maintain a daily commitment to excellence.
  • Proactively promote safety on the jobsite.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of professional landscape experience; a degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year supervising, coaching, or developing team members.
  • Experience with irrigation systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read plans and specifications is required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (bilingual Spanish a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and time and attendance software.
  • Good physical condition to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Valid WA driver's license.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
