Construction Specialist Staff - Occidental Petroleum Corporation : Job Details

Support the construction management of projects by overseeing the management of construction contractors, vendors and support services. Provide field inspection of construction activities related to coating and welding. Provide input to the development of Facilities standards and construction practices. Understand the facilities materials and design that best support the Asset Teams. Support the consistent implementation of functional standards within the Asset Teams. Support maintenance of major project schedule, implementation, compliance to design and commissioning. Project cost tracking and reporting as needed by Project Team. Provide HES leadership to contractors, vendors and teammates. Participate in Construction ability reviews at each phase of the project. Identify and support mitigation of Field obstacles that may impact project execution. Education: High school or equivalent education is required.
