Construction Quality Specialist (Field Quality Assurance)

Innova Solutions seeks a Senior Quality Specialist to support project execution for a major U.S. construction firm. This role ensures construction excellence through field inspections, document reviews, and compliance monitoring—balancing hands-on site work, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and maintain Project Quality Plans and Water Intrusion Plans
• Conduct site walk-throughs and verify adherence to contract documents and industry standards
• Investigate quality issues, trace root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Assist with constructability reviews and performance testing
• Document quality assurance findings, inspections, and corrective measures
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to uphold material and process standards
• Prepare and present quality status reports for project reviews
• Contribute to national initiatives (e.g., QA Manual updates, training programs)
• Mentor junior staff and lead training on quality protocols

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction-related QA/QC roles
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and QA software tools
• Strong technical reading, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of field testing, construction assemblies, and trades

Work Conditions

• Valid driver's license; willing to travel and work flexible hours
• Split between field and office environments, including exposure to extreme conditions
• Physically able to lift 25 lbs; activities include walking, sitting, and site inspections
