HHI Corporation is a leading construction firm in the Western USA, known for its commitment to quality and safety. We are seeking a dedicated Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee a team of quality control professionals on projects up to $20 million. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and company policies, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety on our construction sites.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site walks and inspections to identify and rectify poor quality or non-conforming work.
  • Enforce safety plans outlining the scope and mandated requirements while operating on the site.
  • Teach or facilitate training in various areas required for each project.
  • Conduct mishap investigations and reporting procedures to HHI and government entities.
  • Prepare and report any plans or documentation required for each site in quality control reports.
  • Research, interpret, and implement various regulations and requirements.
  • Create and execute a Project Quality Control Plan.
  • Lead 3-phase quality meetings.
  • Record and log testing and inspections done on site.
Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • OSHA 30 hours Training.
  • Corps Of Engineer training.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent plan and specification reading skills.
  • Well-developed organizational skills.
  • Honest and dependable.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass government security clearance standards.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen test if hired.
  • Good driving record, valid license - insurable through the company.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 5 years' experience over the last 10 years performing as a CQC Systems Manager over $500,000.
  • Currently certified Corps Of Engineer QC Manager.
  • Experience with Bluebeam and Procore.
Preferred Qualifications
  • LEED Training.
  • Scheduling knowledge – Primavera P6 experience preferred.
Key Working Relationships

Must be able to work with government and non-government personnel in a professional and clear manner. Be able to work with different trades and construction focuses to ensure a quality environment without limiting the trades' ability to complete work. Must be able to properly communicate over the phone and in writing to upper management, including Owners, PMs, Superintendents, and Corporate Safety.
