Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Location: Southern California (Project example: El Monte, CA)
Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 base salary, depending on experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in general commercial construction and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. The ideal candidate has a strong track record managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ideally including public works, education, or recreational developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full project lifecycle including planning, budgeting, subcontractor management, scheduling, and client relations
- Oversee construction operations to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and design-build partners
- Manage a small project team including a Project Engineer and Superintendent
- Handle project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contracts
- Monitor jobsite performance and lead project meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to project specifications and local regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience managing general commercial construction projects
- Background in public works, park, or community-related projects is preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms
