Title: Greenfield Construction Project Manager

Location: Webster, NY

Travel Requirements: Up to 30%

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies tailored to greenfield construction/manufacturing projects.
  • Uphold project management standards, tools, and templates to support successful dairy construction and processing projects.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure adherence to goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Manage project portfolios, prioritize initiatives, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Implement routines and processes to capture key project milestones in PMO365 and Microsoft Planner.
  • Conduct risk assessments and mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operational teams to drive project alignment.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Audit and report compliance with project management processes and policies, implementing corrective solutions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field; PMP certification required. Additional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or CSCP are advantageous.
  • 10 years' experience leading Project/Program Management Activities in highly regulated CPG Greenfield projects.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, fiscal management, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, workforce design, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of manufacturing, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Commitment to safety leadership and regulatory compliance.
  • Business acumen and continuous learning mindset.
