Our services include infrastructure improvement, heavy civil construction, vertical construction, site development for government and state agencies and private enterprise across the United States.GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY The Project Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the planning, design, and execution of construction and industrial services projects. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of AIS Infrastructure's projects. The Project Engineer must have a strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management. Adherence to AIS Infrastructure's safety standards and protocols is essential.MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in developing and implementing project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to meet project requirements.Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.Deep knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.Proficiency in construction project management.Strong ability to communicate complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.TRAVEL Occasional travel required.BENEFITS We prioritize our employees' wellbeing and offer a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
