Our Employee-Owned company has an immediate full-time opening for a Branch Manager in the Southeast, based in Albany, GA.
Responsibilities
- Forecast weekly activities, analyze factors affecting results, and develop strategies for efficiency. Complete one- and three-year plans.
- Assist in developing the companys long-term plans and facilitate weekly decision-making processes.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, managing employee performance, and conducting performance appraisals. Handle counseling, discipline, and terminations as necessary.
- Encourage employee continuing education, both in-house and through external programs, meeting minimum required hours.
- Share manpower, resources, and tools across branches as needed.
- Represent the company in the local community and industry organizations.
- Provide leadership to the branch, communicate effectively with team members, and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline, or Journeyman background.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in contracting, engineering, or construction management.
- Management experience leading a team of 5-10 individuals.
- Strong safety attitude and personal integrity.
- Effective communication with customers and team members.
- Experience in electrical or construction fields preferred.
- Ability to think conceptually and apply practical solutions.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and career aspirations.
- Decisive, proactive, and communicative leadership skills.
- Trustworthy with customers and employees.
