In this role, you will observe construction activities performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with construction documents, specifications, and contracts. You will be responsible for evaluating in-place work, providing technical guidance, and assisting the Director of Construction Administration Services in tracking construction progress. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, have excellent communication skills, and be able to make sound decisions in the field with minimal supervision.What You'll Do:
- Evaluate assigned projects to ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Provide technical insight to the Director of Construction Administration Services and/or Director of Program Management on construction activities.
- Collaborate with the Project Team to achieve high-quality construction, meeting project goals and timelines.
- Review and verify construction documents, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Submittals, Change Order Requests, and field reports.
- Monitor construction activities and provide detailed, written, and photographic reports on the progress of the project.
- Participate in construction progress meetings and communicate effectively with contractors and other stakeholders.
- Assist in identifying deficiencies in completed work and propose solutions for corrective actions.
- Observe the progress of the project schedule, identify challenges, and report on the status of critical path activities.
- High level of knowledge in typical constructions assemblies, building envelopes, air barriers and waterproofing.
- Ability to perform peer review of construction contracts, specification documents, and assist the Project Team with QAQC processes.
- Support other firm departments and projects as needed, including site assessments and facility reviews.
What You'll Bring to the Position:
- A High School Diploma with 5-10+ years of project-related experience in engineering, construction, or a closely related field, or a Bachelor degree in a construction-related field with 5+ years of project-related experience.
- Knowledge of construction codes and regulations.
- Strong ability to exercise sound independent judgment and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Exceptional record-keeping skills, particularly in digital formats.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and construction-related software such as BIM 360 Build, ProCore, and BlueBeam Revu.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position.
