In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction materials, including soil, concrete, asphalt, and grout.About the Role:Materials Testing: You will perform a variety of field tests, including soil sampling and testing, concrete testing (slump, air content, cylinder testing), and asphalt testing.Quality Control: You will conduct construction inspections and observations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Data Collection & Reporting: You will accurately document all test results and prepare comprehensive reports.Equipment Maintenance: You will maintain and calibrate testing equipment according to industry standards.Who You Are:Experienced Technician: You have 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing, including soil, concrete, and asphalt testing.Certified Technician: You hold ACI Field Level 1 Certification (or equivalent).Detail-Oriented: You are highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy and quality.A Strong Communicator: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid Driver's License.Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with nuclear density gauges.Experience with other relevant construction materials testing certifications (e.g., ICC).Additional Info:Term: This is a 6-month temp to perm opportunity.Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on prior experienceReady to Join Our Team?If you are a skilled and motivated Construction Materials Testing Technician with a passion for quality and a desire to contribute to successful construction projects, please apply and reach out to Brian Ray at [email protected] or call 470-###-####.
