I-Pharm GxP are seeking an experienced Quality Construction Manager for a leading Pharmaceutical company that we are partnered with to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality across our construction projects.

Strong background in managing construction quality control, implementing processes to prevent and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

This role requires a professional with technical expertise in structural, civil, or pipe welding disciplines, coupled with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality management plans and inspection processes.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Review, assess, and close out NCRs, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality surveillance throughout all phases of construction.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Ensure materials, methods, and workmanship meet quality benchmarks and client expectations.
  • Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including reports, checklists, and compliance records.
  • Support certification processes and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in construction quality management, ideally in large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
  • Strong background in handling and resolving NCRs.
  • Certification(s) in quality management or discipline-specific areas (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, ASNT, API, or equivalent for welding; civil/structural certifications as applicable).
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and QA/QC best practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
