This role is onsite in Roanoke, VA or Rincon, GA.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and execute construction projects across both greenfield (new build) and brownfield (expansion or retrofit) sites. This role is responsible for managing all phases of construction—from planning and site prep to execution and closeout—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day construction activities for new site developments and existing facility modifications.
  • Manage site prep, permitting, infrastructure work, building construction, and equipment installation.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review construction documents, resolve field issues, and manage RFIs and change orders.
  • Conduct site inspections, track progress, and report status to leadership.
  • Oversee quality control, safety compliance, and final project punch list and turnover.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction management, including both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, permitting, site development, and facility systems.
  • Proven ability to manage contractors and subcontractors on complex industrial or commercial projects.
  • Excellent project management, scheduling, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in construction software tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
