We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Manager with a background in real estate and construction management. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, enabling them to effectively oversee and coordinate various field operations. The Construction Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth project execution, managing construction activities, and maintaining efficient communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage field operations, including construction projects, maintenance activities, and property inspections.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of construction and renovation projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports, utilizing Excel and other reporting tools, to track project status, budget, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess construction quality, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as project managers, architects, and engineers, to ensure seamless project coordination and successful completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to foster effective communication and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to real estate and construction management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and quality control.
  • Train and mentor field staff on project requirements, safety protocols, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager, with a strong background in real estate.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations in the context of real estate projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, develop formulas, and generate reports.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire field staff.
  • Familiarity with project management software and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
