Construction Laborer - Oklahoma Steel and Wire : Job Details

If you're a welder who's comfortable on a job site, can read blueprints, and isn't afraid of heights, this is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values quality and teamwork.Primary Responsibilities:Perform structural and fabrication welding in both shop and field environments.Weld steel components using MIG and/or stick welding techniques, ensuring high-quality, clean welds.Assist with general construction tasks, including framing, steel erection, and assembly of metal structures.Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine layout and sequence of operations.Operate a variety of power tools and heavy equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, and manlifts.Work safely at heights using proper fall protection and harness equipment.Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols.Qualifications:Proven welding experience in structural or industrial settings (MIG and/or stick welding).Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and weld symbols.Experience in framing and general construction preferred.Equipment operation experience required (certifications a plus).Comfortable working at heights and in all outdoor conditions.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Must be able to lift 75lbs and perform physically demanding work.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.What We Offer:Competitive pay based on experience and welding skill levelFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offA safety-first environment with a focus on craftsmanship and teamwork Oklahoma Steel & Wire is an Equal Opportunity Employer. recblid dw9fvfn7atv5sfhtwucw1l861q56d3This job is available to residents of USA only..
