Construction helpers/Unindentured Apprentice - Tri-City Group : Job Details

Tri-City Group is seeking Electrical Helpers or Unindentured Apprentices for openings in Iowa City/Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Main duties include but are not limited to:

• performing material handling on the job site
• installing and bending conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
• perform wire and cable pulls

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with electrical tools and machinery
• Reliable transportation to get to the construction site and from job to job
• Regular attendance, timeliness when given tasks, and arrival to work on time - Required
• Ability to follow safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and wear PPE (Safety gear) on site
• Desire to learn in a hands-on environment with an awareness of other job site activities
• Attention to detail, and ability to follow instruction
