Job Description Key Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations for large-scale wastewater treatment plant projects (Lorton, VA or Richmond, VA).
• Lead and manage teams ranging from 5 to 30+ field personnel, including Superintendents.
• Coordinate closely with Project Executives overseeing operations.
• Provide strategic direction, ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
• Serve as the primary field leader, ensuring high-quality execution and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.
• Partner with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President & General Manager of the water division.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; relevant work experience will also be considered.
• 12+ years of experience on wastewater treatment plant projects (experience in dams, reservoirs, or heavy civil infrastructure may also be considered).
• 6+ years of proven success leading and motivating large teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and personnel management.
• Advanced understanding of applicable safety and building regulations (OSHA, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, FieldWire, Bluebeam, P6).

Specialized Experience Preferred

• Biosolids, industrial wastewater treatment, industrial water treatment and storage, infrastructure renewal, pump stations, water storage, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants.
