Key Responsibilities
- Develop estimates and bids for construction projects.
- Mark up plans to identify scopes of work for bid packages.
- Complete take-offs and data mining for bids.
- Review sites and gather necessary information.
- Create, understand, and distribute RFIs to clarify plan discrepancies, constructability issues, and scheduling problems. Fill scope gaps and anticipate issues not presented on plans.
- Generate trade lists, subcontractor and vendor lists, and call lists to ensure bid coverage with at least three bids per trade.
- Prepare subcontractor scope letters to aid in bid package formulation.
- Participate in subcontractor solicitation and negotiations, issuing bid instructions and reviewing documents.
- Assist in procurement and leveling of subcontractor bids.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to communicate effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
- Conduct site visits as necessary.
- Maintain organized documentation.
- Assist in subcontractor prequalification.
- Support the company's values and foster long-term relationships with clients and partners.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture, or two years of estimating experience in lieu of degree.
- At least three years of construction experience.
