  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial construction across the DFW and North Texas markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, brokers, and other industry partners.
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings to expand visibility and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with leadership and estimating teams to prepare proposals, RFQs, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline, including forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to strategically position the company for growth.
  • Support marketing initiatives, including content development and promotional campaigns tied to business development efforts.
  • Maintain a pulse on regional construction activity, permitting, and real estate developments to stay ahead of potential projects.

  • 3-7 years of business development experience in the commercial construction industry, preferably within general contracting.
  • A strong network of industry contacts across DFW and North Texas, including developers, brokers, architects, and commercial real estate professionals.
  • Proven ability to generate and close new business, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Solid understanding of preconstruction processes, project delivery methods, and industry terminology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently as well as in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting practices.
  • Knowledge of the regional construction market, including trends, key players, and competitive landscape.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).

  • $105,000 - $150,000 base + annual bonus and commission
  • Expected % based commission for each sale.
