Construction/ Asphalt Laborer - JURGENSEN COMPANIES : Job Details

Walls Brothers Asphalt is seeking motivated and dependable Asphalt Laborers to join our team. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in asphalt paving or milling, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced outdoor environment.Key Skills & Responsibilities:Asphalt Operations & Paving* Assist in asphalt paving and milling operations on job sites.* Shovel, rake, and smooth asphalt materials.* Patch potholes using hot or cold mix asphalt.Site Preparation & Maintenance* Perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and grading.* Set up and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, etc.).* Install drains, pipes, and other underground utilities when required.Equipment Use & Support* Operate small tools and equipment safely.* Perform basic maintenance and service checks on tools and machinery.* Assist operators and crew with various tasks as needed.Working Conditions & Requirements* Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.* Flexible schedule - including possible evenings, weekends, and overtime.* Must be safety-conscious and follow all company policies and procedures.What We Offer* Competitive pay based on experience.* Opportunity to learn and grow in the asphalt and construction industry.* Supportive team environment with a strong focus on quality and safety.
