We are seeking an Area Manager (Heavy Highway – Roadway/Bridge projects) for the Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia region.

• Provide management for regional “mega-projects” or multiple large/small heavy highway projects, overseeing planning, direction, and coordination.
• Ensure projects meet timelines and budgets, managing project teams and resources.
• Manage Project Engineers/Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen, providing leadership and evaluation.

• Review project proposals to determine scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and resources.
• Oversee staffing and work plans for each project phase, addressing gaps as needed.
• Assign duties, responsibilities, and authority to project staff.
• Coordinate activities to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.
• Monitor project reports, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Provide technical advice and problem resolution.
• Coordinate with government agencies and subcontractors.
• Analyze and execute CPM-based project schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
