Construction Accountant - Pridestaff : Job Details

Construction Accountant Summary: specializes in managing the finances of construction projects, ensuring accurate budgeting, cost tracking, and compliance with industry regulations. They handle tasks like preparing financial reports, managing project costs,and overseeing payroll, while also navigating the unique challenges of construction accounting, such as long project timelines and fluctuating costs. Ultimately, they play a crucial role in the financial health and success of construction companies and projects. Responsibilities:

• QB Enterprise Contractor
• Payroll (Including Prevailing Wage)
• AP/AR
• Budgeting and Job Cost Reporting
• Insurance renewals & audits (health, liability, WC, etc.)
• Quarterly and month-end financial reporting
• Year end tax preparation (assist CPA)
• Work in Progress reporting (WIP)
• Must be able to work with multiple entities
• Monthly bank, fuel and credit card reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Loan renewals
• EIDL knowledge a plus.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years Accounting/Financial Experience- Preferably Construction
• BA Degree
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
