Tyto Athene is searching for a Configuration Manager - Journeyman to support U.S. Southern Command on the SCITES II Contract in Doral, Florida. Responsibilities Assists in the development and integration of a comprehensive Configuration Management (CM) process to enhance the efficiency, interoperability, and resilience of the Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) Contributes to maintaining an authoritative, data-driven CM process that forms the foundation of EIE architecture, aligned with USSOUTHCOM strategies and mission objectives Supports the configuration management of an IT blueprint detailing the inputs, outputs, and interoperability conditions of the EIE Helps create and maintain an accurate service catalog, integrating cyber and data-informed capabilities to meet evolving requirements Collaborates with senior team members to uphold the integrity and effectiveness of the EIE, driving improved organizational performance Required Associate's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field Experience may substitute for formal education based on DoD guidelines 4-9 years of experience in Configuration Management or related IT/ engineering support role Working knowledge of CM methodologies and tools Familiarity with system lifecycle frameworks such as DoD Acquisition Lifecycle Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills Strong collaboration skills across engineering, cybersecurity, and operations team Desired Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business or related field Experience with DevOps or DevSecOps principles and tooling Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service delivery processes Understanding of DoDAF and architecture alignment practices Experience supporting DoD of Federal government programs Working knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipeline, and automation tools Proficient in managing baselines for virtualized or cloud-based environments Certified International Configuration Manager Configuration Management Analyst Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger certification Clearance Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Certification DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role CompTIA Security+ CE Location Doral, Florida Compensation Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
