The Opportunity: Are you ready to revolutionize financial auditability and transportation logistics? We're seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to oversee configuration management processes for USTRANSCOM systems, implementing a cutting-edge software system that will transform financial and supply chain management. • Lead and implement configuration management processes and procedures
• Manage the configuration management database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracy
• Oversee change management, version control, and release management processes
• Conduct configuration audits and prepare reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper configuration management practices
• Develop and maintain configuration management plans and documentation
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
• Ensure compliance with DoD and USTRANSCOM policies

Required:

• Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related
• 8-11 years in configuration management, preferably in DoD or government
• Knowledge of configuration management tools and methodologies
• Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with change management and version control systems
• Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM principles
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Active Secret clearance
• Basic knowledge of SAP and ERP

Desired:

• SAFe Agile experience, SAFe Agilist Certification
• Configuration management certifications (e.g., CMII, CMPIC)
• Experience with project management methodologies
• Master's degree in relevant fields

We offer competitive salary, benefits, and development opportunities. The salary range is $73,800 - $155,100.
