Job Description Description SAIC is looking for a Configuration Management Specialist for PLM to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. This position will serve as the JXY Windchill Implementation Lead. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee the successful implementation of the Windchill PLM Environment on the Gov RDT&E network in support of JXY projects
  • Design and implement product lifecycle workflows and approval processes
  • Ensure adaptable processes that support various CAD packages working within Windchill PLM Environment including Solidworks, Solid Edge, as well CREO
  • Provide guidance and expertise on the successful transition of existing CAD models into Windchill PLM Environment
  • Manage Windchill PLM system architecture, configurations, and upgrades
  • Enforce CM policies, procedures, access controls, and best practices
  • Provide training and support to engineering teams and stakeholders within JXY to ensure successful implementation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Windchill-related issues for JXY
Qualifications REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. In lieu of degree, thirteen (13) years of directly related experience in Windchill CM software
  • 3-5 years developing Technical Data Packages (TDP) for implementation in a Windchill environment
  • Demonstrated capabilities in providing training in Windchill software
  • No clearance required to start however must have the ability to obtain Secret security clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
  • US Citizenship required
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Possess Specialized training certs related to TDP development
  • Any completed course of training related to Windchill software development
  • CM management within Windchill, creating workflows
  • Possess strong communication skills
