Position Summary:

The Associate Configuration and Enablement Manager plays a vital role supporting clients in designing, configuring, and tailoring athenaOne solutions to achieve their clinical and financial goals. In this role, the Associate collaborates closely with senior team members to define and optimize workflows, streamline operations, and integrate athenahealth best practices with client-specific requirements. The Associate will assist in the implementation of tailored client workflows, validate system configurations, ensure seamless solution adoption, and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their career who is enthusiastic about learning and passionate about client success. The Associate will gain hands-on experience in client management, solution design, and process improvement through active participation in team efforts and close collaboration with both clients and internal teams. This position provides a foundational path for developing skills in healthcare technology and client support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. By embracing a continuous learning mindset and actively seeking opportunities to expand their knowledge, the Associates can enhance their own skills and expertise and also contribute to the growth and success of the Onboarding organization.

Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Assist in Solution Design: Work alongside Onboarding Success Management and client teams to interpret client requirements and assist in creating tailored, future-state workflows that align with clients' business objectives and operational standards while enhancing efficiency.
  • Configuration Validation and Adoption: Help validate system configurations to ensure alignment with client needs and promote successful solution adoption. Provide support to guide clients through the transition and maximize usage of athenaOne solutions.
  • Best Practice Integration and Resource Management: Incorporate athenahealth best practices into client-specific processes, ensuring that clients benefit from proven strategies and industry standards. Assist in curating and managing an internal library of configuration and workflow resources to support best practices.
  • Process Innovation: Contribute to process improvements within the Onboarding organization by providing actionable feedback, helping to drive ongoing innovation and effectiveness.
  • Subject Matter Expertise and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and leverage specialized expertise in specific product areas, specialties, and unique workflows. Expand and share knowledge to strengthen team capabilities and client outcomes.
  • Decision-Making Influence: Serve as an advisor to clients under guidance of senior team members, influencing their configuration and enablement decisions to support both immediate and long-term success.
  • Adaptability: Adapt quickly to changing client needs and organizational priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to meeting diverse and evolving business demands.
  • Propensity to Learn: Actively seeks out new learning opportunities to expand their knowledge based on hands-on experience to broaden their understanding of different aspects of athenaOne products and services. Demonstrates a growth mindset and takes ownership in their professional development by embracing challenges and seeking out new projects or assignments.

Education&Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 1-2 years of relevant client services or professional experience in a healthcare environment.

  • Basic understanding of healthcare operations, technical adoption, or customer service.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and an openness to learn additional tools.

Preferred Qualifications&Competencies

  • Experience within healthcare and/or consulting industries.

  • Familiarity with athenahealth products and services.

  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.

  • Project Management: Capacity to manage and deliver projects within established timelines and under pressure.
