Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive SR Quality Engineer to support and enhance our quality management systems within a fast-paced distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and a strong understanding of quality assurance practices in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Management Systems (QMS):
  • Maintain and improve compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Support audits, documentation, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Analyze operational processes to identify inefficiencies and implement quality improvements that enhance accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Root Cause Analysis & CAPA:
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Training & Compliance:
  • Support training initiatives related to quality standards, procedures, and environmental compliance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics, including defect rates, returns, and audit findings. Use data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Supplier & Vendor Quality:
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards and resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Environmental Management:
  • Assist in maintaining environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives in line with ISO 14001
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, and SPC.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software (QMS platforms).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internal or Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001.
  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
