Position Title: RecruiterWage: $22.00 - $25.00/hourA Temp-to-Hire, fully-onsite Recruiter position in Rockford, IL is available through Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions. This role is critical to building a dependable and high-performing general labor workforce. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding new hires and supporting staffing needs across the company. Your ability to engage candidates and move quickly while maintaining quality will directly impact our team's success and overall productivity. This is a fully onsite M-F position with 40-hour work weeks. Once hired on after approximately six months, you will have the opportunity to take on additional HR responsibilities.Key Responsibilities: - Partner with warehouse supervisors and operations leadership to understand labor needs and hiring priorities - Source, screen, and interview candidates for general labor and warehouse roles (e.g., pickers, packers, forklift operators) and other office and salaried roles - Attend local hiring events, job fairs, and open houses to attract talent - Post jobs on relevant job boards, social media, and local community platforms - Conduct pre-employment screenings, background checks, and reference checks - Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) - Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and orientation processes - Ensure candidates understand job expectations, schedules, safety standards, and attendance policies - Collaborate with HR and Safety teams to ensure a smooth handoff post-hire - Track recruitment metrics (time to fill, source of hire, etc.) and report on hiring activity regularlyQualifications: - 1+ years of fully cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on hourly general labor roles - Strong sourcing and interviewing skills, with the ability to assess reliability, attendance history, and fit - Comfortable working in both office and warehouse settings when needed - Excellent communication, interpersonal and confidentiality skills - Proficiency with ATS systems and MS Office (Excel, Outlook)If you are interested in this Temp-to-Hire Recruiter position in Rockford, IL, then please click APPLY NOW.
