Concrete Patcher - Automation Personnel Services : Job Details

Job DescriptionCONCRETE PATCHERAutomation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Concrete Patcher for a company based in Bessemer, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, correcting concrete defects, and performing various tasks related to concrete repair and finishing. Pay Rate $16.00 plus per hour-based on experienceSchedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Some required overtime possibleConcrete Patcher- Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Correct concrete defects after casting using proper patch and repair methods.
• Drill necessary after-cast holes within products when needed.
• Work with mortar/cement material to create patches.
• Wet concrete surfaces and use stone to smooth surfaces and obtain specified finishes.
• Utilize hand grinders to cut and/or smooth concrete surfaces.
• Select proper aggregate to correct finishes as necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as instructed by the supervisor, including clean-up and housekeeping tasks.

Concrete Patcher- Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to read a tape measure down to 32nd of inch
• Ability to perform job-specific physical requirements under specified working conditions, including bending, stooping, working on knees, and lifting 50 lbs.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience working with concrete (experience with precast preferred).
• Working knowledge of basic construction math, familiarity with hand and power tools, and general knowledge of blueprints.
• Willingness to perform any assigned task.
• Self-sufficient and self-motivated.
• Reliable and timely transportation.
• Strict start of day at 7:00 AM. Or earlier
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
• Ability to stay until tasks are finished properly - flexible end of day
