Job Number: 411 Job Category: GovTech Job Title: COMPUTER USER SUPPORT SPECIALIST JR (411) - CALIFORNIA - URGENT Job Type: Full-time Clearance Level: Secret Work Arrangement: On-site Job Location: CA China Lake Salary: 50K -60K Background * Provide technical assistance to computer users* Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically* May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems* Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions* Monitor computer system performance to ensure proper operation* Provide technical support for software maintenance or use* Resolve computer software problems* Install software and test computer software performance* Train others in computer interface software use Requirements * Over 2 years of experience performing the duties described in the Functional Description and Responsibilities* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening-for staff, customer and organizational level communications, both formal and informal* Ability to work independently; self-starter Preferred * Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
