The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE). Our support encompasses data analytics, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

The Strategic Systems Analysis Group (SSAG) supports government and private sector strategic planning, decision-making, and program management, providing timely and objective technical, operational, and policy analysis.

We have a near-term need for a Computer Systems Engineer/Architect.

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Senior Computer Systems Engineer / Architect (Mission Systems Services Manager). Responsibilities include managing GOC Mission System Services task order(s), ensuring timely technical and financial solutions, coordinating all activities related to assigned projects, managing mission systems and communications systems to meet operational requirements, leading project teams, and ensuring the delivery of quality products and services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Must maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Nuclear Command and Control - Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2-ESI), NATO, and SAR programs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, systems analysis, or systems architecture.
  • At least 12 years of experience in strategic deterrence and global strike planning, with in-depth knowledge of NC2 and NC3 operations, strategic nuclear operations, joint warfighting doctrine, and command structures.
  • Knowledge of critical command and control requirements, including operational capabilities and procedures for NC2 and NC3.
  • Familiarity with national, DoD, and CJCS guidance, including Emergency Action Procedures and Presidential Policy Directives.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters or PhD in engineering, systems analysis, or systems architecture.
  • 5+ years supporting USSTRATCOM GOC or similar operations centers.
  • Experience with NC2 operational platforms and communication modes.
